Semi-crampon compatible, the versatility of the Tower 2.0 GTX makes it perfectly at home in mountaineering, via ferrata or trekking on rough terrain. A boot that adapts perfectly to the needs of the expert climber and the modern hiker looking for a high-performance solution in a featherweight of just 650g for a single shoe in size 42.

The microfiber and nylon upper with protective rubber toe cap features a grippy, stretchy collar that ensures greater mobility and keeps the bottom of the pants firmly in place. Featuring an unmatched weight/abrasion protection ratio, the protective Brunner Liba® rand, much lighter than traditional rubber, provides 360° protection from impacts on rocks, while the GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane protects against wind and rain.

With Tower 2.0, Garmont redefines the standards of the technical and performance alpine boot category, thanks to its exceptional comfort right out of the box, just like a sneaker. This result is possible thanks to the combination of selected materials combined with recognized technologies of Garmont DNA such as the erGo-last last - which follows the shape of the foot more precisely for a more ergonomically comfortable fit - and Double Damper for excellent shock absorption, which ensure unprecedented comfort all day long.

To tackle the most rugged terrain, a climber needs to feel confident and stable with every step, and the Vibram® Apex sole meets this need. The wider shape at the toes and heel provides stability and grip, while the particular design of the Vibram 3-Angle lugs ensures directional traction and braking in all conditions. The sole works in combination with the FrameFlex Mid insole that combines stability and flexibility to carry heavy loads over long distances in complete comfort.

When you spend many hours outdoors, even the details can make the difference. The footbed, with antibacterial silver yarn on the surface with anatomical EVA heel, ensures better shock absorption.
